Hi I'm Jeanne, welcome to my world
I'm Jeanne, a 24 year old self taught artist. My art mostly consists of painting, drawing, photography and designing clothes. I want to showcase some of that here and also start selling some of my art. Other than being an artist i'm a studied astrophysicist and science communicator.

Who am I?
My name is Jeanne, I was born in Salzburg, Austria on the 29th of November 2001, making me currently 24 years old. I spent my early life in Salzburg and in school mainly focused on languages and different forms of media training (film, photography, audio...). I finished school with honors and decided to go into a completely different direction: science. I started my Bachelor's degree in astrophysics at the university of vienna in 2020 and finished it in 2023 within the minimum required time. I then started immediatley with a Master's degree in astrophysics which I finished with honors in 2025. Throughout all of that however, I stuck to art of various forms. I've been drawing actively since I was 12 years old and have been constantly evolving in my media, my style and my topics. Now I'm currently searching for a PhD in astrophysics, while trying to also do more with my art and put it out there more. What's my medium?
I don't really stick to one type of medium, that would bore me :) I do a lot of acrylic paintings on canvases, i sketch on paper with just pencils or markers, sometimes I use gouache and aquarell on paper. I have also painted clothes and wood with acrylics. Furthermore I photograph sometimes with a Fuji X-A2. So yeah not really sticking to a medium but doing whatever I feel like at the moment:)
What inspires me?
Lots and lots of things:) Different artists, music, movies, shows, nature, things, people, books, characters... to name a few of my current inspirations: Alice in Wonderland, Luna Darko, Melanie Martinez (only the art style!!), Lord of the rings, Dolls: especially clowns and antique porcelain dolls, fairies and (especially irish/celtic) folklore, Chapell Roan, Dark academia (the secret history, chess, classic literature), Joan of Arc, 2016 tumblr era, eyes, flowers, Taylor Swifts lyric writing, the sea, forests, the shadowhunter chrouicles, the vampire academy, vampires in general, period dramas, feminism and activism, the stars, the universe and everything within it:)
